The thermal control of 300MW and above capacity units has been fully adopted DCS control system, gradually formed the data acquisition (DAS), analog control (MCS), sequential control (SCS), burner management (BMS) four systems. From the actual operation, DCS better realize its control function, and play the advantages of safety, economy, reliable use, has achieved good results, and electrical control is still more conventional means of control, the use of one to one hard hand operation on the table. With the rapid development of computer and the continuous improvement of control technology, the machine and furnace control and electrical control are increasingly not coordinated, and the control level is gradually extended. In order to solve this contradiction, the effective way is to incorporate the electrical DCS control, so that both the use of DCS has mature decentralized control technology, and can improve the electrical control level. Electrical control into DCS, can make full use of the means of DCS, the electrical anti-misoperation and other functions to achieve more convenient, more complete, and the relevant amount of display alarm and electrical equipment control regulation organically combined, effectively improve the safety and reliability of the entire electrical control.
In July 1997, the former Ministry of Electric Power held the sixth expansion meeting of the leading group of thermal automation, and put forward specific suggestions on how to cooperate with DCS in electrical design: “To realize the centralized management of furnace, machine and electricity, so that the coordinated development of the level of furnace, machine and electricity control in the main control room of the power plant is necessary and feasible under the conditions of existing technology and equipment. It can play the role of saving people and the area of the main control room, and facilitate the centralized control duty operation, and does not increase the cost. The leadership group asked for a positive attitude to join the electrical engineering pilot into DCS.” According to this spirit, the electrical system of Jiujiang Power plant Phase III 2×350MW, Xinyang Power plant Phase I 2×300MW, Yiyang Power Plant Phase I 2×300MW project are included in DCS monitoring. Now according to these several projects in the specific implementation of the process and requirements, the electrical system into DCS monitoring of some of the related problems are analyzed and discussed.
