DS200NATOG3A is a voltage feedback scaling board developed by General Electric. Designed for the Mark V series of replacement and optional boards, this card can be applied to an array of GE brand exciters and drives. Installing the board provides an integrated AC and DC voltage attenuation on those sourced from the SCR bridge. Attenuating these allows for the bridge’s voltage feedbacks to be derived accurately and precisely.
This board is developed to interface with a few components found within the drive. Both the VME system backplane and the gate distribution and status board interface with the DS200NATOG3A. Inputs received by the board are done so using five identical strings connected to one another. Three of the strings are used for the three AC phases. The remaining two are used for DC positive and DC negative bus voltages. All five of these are attached to a single 20 pin ribbon header. A metal oxide varistor (MOV) found on this connector ensure that output voltages never peak higher than rated when voltages are still inputted to the device.
Defined parameters provided by the manufacturer for both DS200NATOG3A as well as its installed drive should be reviewed.
